Launch of “Tokyo Brand Promotion Campaign”

Tokyo Metropolitan Government is making efforts to establish a new Tokyo brand that will help build a stronger impression of Tokyo as a tourist destination, ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.

To this end, it has launched the Tokyo Brand Promotion Campaign, a new initiative to promote the Tokyo brand. The campaign will center on “& TOKYO,” a new logo and slogan that embodies the identity of the city. The logo will gain exposure through various opportunities, both in Japan and overseas, thereby spreading the Tokyo brand far and wide. The project is associated with urban strategies and policy guidelines within Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s long-term vision.
