Kansai International Airport (KIX) reopened September 21, prompting Kansai Tourism Bureau to start a campaign with the objective of reviving local tourism. The “Kansai Inbound Tourism Revival Plan” was announced by Japan Tourism Agency also on September 21, welcoming back travellers to the region in the centre of Japan.
