Foreign Office celebrates the ‘two years to go’ mark by featuring Judo Champion Kosei Inoue

Quite often on this blog we talk about how Japan is seen from a UK perspective, well today there is the opposite. The UK Foreign Office has started a video series called  “See Britain” to mark the two year countdown to the 2012 London Olympics. The video series will speak to a wide range of people and it has begun with the Judo champion Kosei Inoue. The video is available to watch here.

The Foreign Office is marking the two year point by launching our series of “See Britain” short films. These films give people from other countries the chance to tell us what they think about the UK…we’re interested in how others see the UK and have spoken to a wide range of people with links to the UK about their experiences. Our first “See Britain” film features Japanese Judo champion Kosei Inoue, who is currently coaching Judo at the famous Budokwai in London.

More than fifty countries, including Japan and the UK, will be competing in the 2012 Olympics.
