In November 2017, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) formulated the “Global Financial City: Tokyo” Vision, with the aim of making Tokyo an unrivalled global financial centre. As nurturing of the FinTech industry is key to achieving this Vision, TMG has launched a dedicated accelerator programme “Fintech Business Camp Tokyo.”
This programme is targeted at foreign startup companies operating in the field of FinTech industry and aims to provide them with mentoring from leading companies in Japan’s finance sector, as well as business matching with companies in Tokyo.
