The London Mayor has today announced a rise in the London Living Wage, to £7.85 an hour. Among the businesses throwing their weight behind the social responsibility initiative is the Japanese securities firm Nomura, who will now pay this lifestyle costs reflective minimum wage to service staff in their London offices.
