Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is collaborating with private businesses for implementing business models aimed at reducing single-use plastics dramatically, such as reuse, or innovative recycling technology such as closed-loop recycling technology, in order to achieve the sustainable use of plastics with net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
Businesses for a circular economy have been developing in Europe also. Tokyo, in collaborating with the EU Delegation to Japan, will hold an online symposium – for more details and registration please see the TMG website.
