This weekend (19 September) sees the 2009 Japan Matsuri in London. From 10am in Spitalfields Market, the festival promises Japan-themed entertainment, stalls and food. The event will be addressed by Richard Barnes, Deputy Mayor of London.
Created by the Japan Society and the Japanese Residents Association, in collaboration with other leading Japanese organizations (including Japan Local Government Centre), the Japan Matsuri is hosted by Spitalfields Traders Market and is “Celebrating the 150 year Japan/UK relationship in style”.
