Assistant Directors from the Japan Local Government Centre this week participated in staff training facilitated by Exeter City Council and Teignbridge District Council in the South West of England.
The four-strong group visited a range of council facilities and smart city projects, as well as receiving a civic welcome as an overseas delegation. Exeter also served as one of the host cities for the 2015 Rugby World Cup, which was staged in Japan last year.
