Tokyo Metropolitan Government has compiled the English guidebook titled ‘Guidance to the Asset Management Industry in Japan’ (‘the guidebook’) with the cooperation of the Financial Services Agency, in order to provide useful information for foreign asset managers to enter Japan’s market smoothly.
This guidebook gives easy-to-understand explanations of Japanese financial laws and regulations, and how to apply for registration as a financial instruments business operator.
