Assistant Director Yoshihisa Ogawa and Research Manager Andrew Stevens visited Cheshire West and Chester Council this week for a CLAIR report on local authority policies for tourism promotion as part of local economic development. In Chester they learned how the new local authority is using its significant heritage assets to promote the visitor economy while working alongside other sub-regional partners to promote tourism in the new Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.
